(Me on the inside)
Two very quick life updates:
(1) My new job title is now “Organizational Development Manager.” Hurray!!! That means that I can actually focus my time in the office on all the little things I’ve been slowly (and stealthily) trying to change outside of my job description… not that I really had a job description.
(2) Yesterday was my first day of the third independent study I am doing this semester, this one is in organizational psychology. Turns out the topic of research we’ll be working on is how goal orientation affects group creativity! And there are 2 people in the class. And I am one of them. Ahhhh!
Stay tuned for more details.
1) Yayyy! How do you want to develop organization? What ideas do you have?
2) Independent study with whom and where?? I want, I want! Summertime?
2) (because it’s easier to answer) Independent study with a PhD student named Joaquin Rocca, who’s doing his dissertation on group creativity at Columbia and Hunter. And you can, you can get involved in the summer!!! He’s very open to more assistance.
1) I think this should be a series of separate posts since there is too much to say. I will begin talking about this in a few days when my head stops whirling!
2) I want to start my summer planning early (I always wait until a month before and it kicks me in the behind) so what should I do to find out how/if/when/what? I wonder if I could get credit for it. I need to take 2 classes over the summer- maybe this could count! Oof, I’m getting sweaty. I miss you!
